Trip to CA and the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary!

We went to California for the weekend to visit my Mom and one of our adventures took us to the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.

I would highly recommend this to anyone in that area. It is a smaller zoo with its inhabitants being all rescues from various situations. Tigers that were kept in deplorable conditions and others that might have been found injured and have now been saved. They have so many different animals including bears, wolves, cougars and more.

Each enclosure tells you about the animal and how it was helped or saved. So I hope they get many visitors to help keep this great place thriving! There is also a really neat little stream train you can ride just outside the main entrance. 

We really enjoyed our visit!
